Daniel Cipriano Cuellar

Daniel was married to Mary Cuellar for 30 cherished years, and together they built a family grounded in devotion and care. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Cuellar; sons Daniel J. Cuellar Jr. (Monica Cuellar), and Charles Cuellar (Susana Cuellar); stepdaughter Kimberly Gomez (George Gomez); five grandchildren who brought joy to his life. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by his siblings Hilda San Miguel, Elia Hildebrand, Esther Kirk, Joe Cuellar, and Irma Garcia. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Cipriano Cuellar and Bertha Laredo, and his beloved aunt, Beatrice Laredo.

A man of faith and adventure, Daniel found joy in reading the Bible, traveling, capturing life through photography, hiking, fishing, and watching sports. His kindness, wisdom, and gentle spirit touched all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives he graced.

A visitation for Daniel will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205. A funeral service will occur Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Freedom, A Church For All People, 6416 Grissom Rd, Leon Valley, TX 78238. A committal service will occur Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 1:15 PM to 1:35 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (Shelter #2), 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
