“Chela,
For over 15 years, I have been waiting patiently for you to be by my side. In as many years, I have watched over you as you lived your life with our loving children, grandchildren and great-grandchild I was never able to meet. I have seen you in joyous moments and held you during your struggles. I have been through your good days and not so good days. I know you prayed and talked to me every day and every night. I was listening. I heard your doubts, dreams and wishes. Through it all, I could feel your love and longing and I sincerely hope you could feel mine, because it was real. I was always with you, my love. I want our children to know that I have welcomed you home with open arms. I want our family to know that we are together once again walking hand in hand with God for eternity. One day we will all be together as a family. Until then, this will be our time-just you and me.
I love you, Honey, your husband
Joe
