Frances F. Rodriguez

Frances F. Rodriguez, 102, of San Antonio, Texas, was born October 10, 1923, in Macdona, Texas, and passed away May 15, 2026. She will be remembered with deep respect and enduring gratitude, held close by all who knew her as a beloved and cherished presence whose devotion to family and care for others shaped the lives around her.

Frances was married for over 50 years, a testament to steady commitment and lasting love. She was preceded in passing by her beloved husband, Jose A. Rodriguez; their daughter, Magdalena Rodriguez; her parents, Geronima and Santiago Fuentes; and all of her siblings.

She is survived by her son, Jose A. Rodriguez Jr.; her daughters, Frances Rodriguez and Olivia R. Lemelle; her grandchildren, Jean Marie Rodriguez, Jose A. Rodriguez III, Raymond Rodriguez, and Marcel R. Lemelle; her great grandchildren, Olivia Renee Rodriguez, Gregorio Andreas Rodriguez (Andy), and Alexis Marie Rodriguez; and her great great granddaughter Cherry Rose Rodriguez.

Those who shared life with Frances knew a compassionate spirit expressed in everyday ways—through cooking for family and neighbors, tending a garden with patient care, and taking quiet joy in bird watching. Her devotion also showed in the simple faithfulness of her routines: praying her rosary, reading, exercising, and the steady attention she gave to the well-being of those she loved. In these ordinary moments, her cherished legacy was made—one of warmth, constancy, and a life lived with sincere care.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers, 515 N Main Avenue, San Antonio, Texas 78205, on June 3, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A Rosary will begin 12:00 p.m. followed by a continued Funeral Service at 12:45 p.m. Committal will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, Shelter #1, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
