Georgia E. Valdez

Georgia E. Valdez entered in to rest on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the age of 73. She was born to Ramon and Juanita Galvan Escareno on September 9, 1941 in Carrol, Michigan. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Henrietta Knowles, Maria Galvan, Hortencia Galvan, and son Reynaldo E . Valdez Jr., husband Alloy Flores, and first husband Reynaldo X Valdez. Georgia will be survived by her children; Bobby Joe Valdez (Kris Acosta), Helen J. Valdez, Roy E. Valdez, grandchildren; Lucinda V. Macias, Jonah Ray Valdez, Bobby Joe Valdez II, Georgette Valdez/Smith, Tracy Valdez, Jessica Valdez, Ray Valdez, Crystal Valdez, Roxanne Puenelas, Valerie Puenelas, Destiny Valdez, Savannah Valdez, 30 great grandchildren, a sister Juanita ”Janie” E. Ramos and brothers; Joe Valdez, Johnny Escareno. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., visitation will continue Thursday, May 27, 2015 at the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. The family will meet for a funeral mass at 1:00 p.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church, 130 S. San Augustine, with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery III, 1735 Cupples Rd.
