It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Isaiah Angel Sanchez, who tragically left us on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at the age of 17. Isaiah was a bright soul who touched the lives of all who knew him with his infectious smile, kind heart, and respectful nature. He was a young man who brought joy wherever he went and will forever be remembered for his warmth and his spirit.
Isaiah had a passion for life, especially when it came to his love of sports, music, and fast cars. He spent many joyful hours playing basketball and football, and his family and friends cherished their time together outdoors. Whether it was a friendly game or simply enjoying the beauty of nature, Isaiah was always in his element when surrounded by loved ones.
Isaiah was a loving son, brother, fiancé, and friend. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Roselinda Vargas, grandmother, Rosie Sword, grandfather, William J. Magee, and grandfather, Albert Q. Ramas. He leaves behind his devoted parents, Linda Sanchez (Michael Garcia) and Jose A. Sanchez Jr., his cherished fiancée of two years, Carlee, and his siblings: Celeste Sanchez, Ariel Garcia, Amaris Garcia, Elijah Garcia, Johnny Alva, Michael Garcia Jr., Brian Alva, Michael Rodriguez, and James Ortiz. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all of whom will deeply miss him.
Isaiah’s legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a light in this world, and though his time with us was far too short, his impact will never be forgotten.
A visitation for Isaiah will be held Friday, January 3, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205, followed by a going home service from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM where services will conclude.
"Our beautiful angel, we love you and miss you so so much. Fly high baby, keep heaven rocking and save a spot for us. Love you Isaiah." - All those you left too soon.
Isaiah, you will be forever missed and loved. Rest in peace.
