Jesse M Acosta

He was born on January 21, 1937, in San Antonio, Texas, to Victor A. Acosta and Virginia M. Acosta.

Jesse was preceded in death by his late wife, Eloisa Acosta; his daughter, Sandra Gloria Martinez; his parents, Victor A. Acosta and Virginia M. Acosta; and his siblings, Victor Acosta and Virginia Sanchez.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Maria Erene Cabrera Mendez; his son, Jesse A. Acosta and his wife, Cindy; his son, David A. Acosta and his wife, Virginia; his daughter, Eloisa A. Acosta and his sister, Rosie Barrera; as well as seven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and friends.

Jesse enjoyed a simple and fulfilling life. He found great joy in fishing, watching wrestling, and spending time working in his yard. He will be remembered for his strength, dedication to his family, and the quiet moments he shared with those he loved.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205, US, on April 16, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, followed by the Rosary at 7:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will take place at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 617 S Santa Rosa Ave, San Antonio, TX 78204, US, on April 17, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237, US, on April 17, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
