Jesse L. Salazar went to be with the Lord on June 5, 2017 at the age of 71. He was preceded in death by his parents Lucas and Aurora Salazar. Jesse is survived by his wife Diana Salazar; children and their spouses, Jesse Eric Salazar and Martiza, Gina Salazar Garcia and Jose Jr.; grandchildren Alexis, Eric Lucas, Clarissa and Marco. The visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2017 at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers 515 N. Main Ave., with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The procession will depart the funeral home at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2017 for a 12:30 Mass of the Resurrection at St. Ann's Catholic Church 210 St. Ann st., with interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery
