Joe E. Mayorga

Joe Edward Mayorga, with great sadness, the family announces his passing at the age 66, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 21, 2018. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, proudly served in the Army and made a long life career as a Respiratory Therapist for 35 years. Joe always had a love of family, fishing and traveling around the USA with his family and not to mention the love of worldwide sports. He is survived by his beloved wife Cynthia; son Michael Mayorga and stepson Christopher Sauceda and his wife Amy Lynn; and grandchildren Jeannie Isabella and Massimo Tobias. He leaves behind sisters, Maria Trevino, niece Amanda and Marina Wiseman and nieces and numerous friends. Joe was preceded in death by his parents Conrado and Angelica Mayorga.

The family will received friends at Funerario Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 N Main, San Antonio, TX on Friday March 2, 2018 Visitation at 9:00am, with Prayer Service at 10:00am. A private burial will be held at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery.

First, we give praise and honor to our heavenly father for his unconditional love, His great mercy and guidance in our family lives. Joe’s smile and laughter brought warmth to our lives and will be remembered. We will keep and cherish every heartwarming memory. He has made a great impact in our lives and will be greatly missed.
