It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Juan J. Rodriguez, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 91.
Born on January 2, 1934, to Antonio and Francisca Rodriguez (both deceased), Juan was a devoted Catholic who lived a life of faith, service, and love for his family. He was united in marriage to his loving wife, Delia Rodriguez, for 67 years, and together they raised a close-knit family. Juan was a father to five children: Diana (Eloy) Uresti, John (Maria) Rodriguez, Manuel (Janie) Rodriguez, David Rodríguez and Thomas (Barbara) Rodriguez. He was also a proud and loving grandfather to 14 grandchildren and great-grandfather to 25 great-grandchildren.
Juan is also survived by his brother, Pedro Antonio Rodriguez, and was preceded in death by his siblings, Roger, Belia, Oralia, and Manuela.
In his life, Juan had many passions. He enjoyed fishing, drawing, woodworking, and photography, capturing memories of his family and travels. He had a deep interest in history, genealogy, and gardening. As a world traveler, he embraced many pilgrimages and camping adventures, always looking for new experiences and opportunities to share with those he loved. Juan was a man of faith and made it his mission to spread the teachings of the Catholic Church.
He was known for his gentle spirit, his dedication to his family, and his unwavering devotion to his faith. Juan’s legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will live on through the many lives he touched.
Juan will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
