Juan N. Vargas, beloved husband, father and grandfather, entered rest on March 2, 2013 at the age of 81. He was born to Alfonso and Rafaela in Lerdo, Durango, Mexico on May 16, 1931. Mr. Vargas worked for Newell Co. as a yardman. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Maria Vargas; their children: Magda Zavala and husband Jeff, John Vargas, Marivel Romo and husband Tony, Anthony Vargas, Alfonso Vargas and wife Cheryl, Javier Vargas, Gloria Vasquez and husband Domingo; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers for a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m., Friday, March 8, 2013 at Christ the King Catholic Church.
