Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, and was loved by all. She is survived by her husband of 50 years; Robert Spinks, son; Steven Spinks and his wife Rosanna Spinks, her granddaughter; Megan Spinks Spitzer and her husband Chris, and her great-grandson; Joshua Spitzer. She is also survived by her sisters Libby Vignes, Delma Blalock, and her husband Davis, brother; Joel Godwin and his wife Diane, as well as many nieces and nephews. Linda was a Day Care Director at St. Paul’s Lutheran Day Care for many years, provided day care at St. Peter’s and St. Joshefs Children’s Home, and was the owner/director at Learn and Fun Day Care on Clark Ave. She was a supporter of Boy Scout Troop 358. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Roy Akers Funeral Home, 515 N.
