Luis Cuellar

On April 2, 2012 Luis Cuellar Jr, passed away at the age of 85. He was born in Laredo, TX on December 18, 1926 to Luis Cuellar Sr. and Amelia Cuellar. He served proudly in the US Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theatre. He retired as Deputy Chief of the Bexar County Adult Probation Office after 45 years in law enforcement in various positions. He is survived by his beloved and loving wife of 37 years Anna Marie. He also leaves behind his Son Jeff Cuellar(Margaret) and numerous grand children, and great grandchildren, 4 step- children(Nanette Darheim, Thomas Anthony Cans, Rosanne Williams, and John Cano), and his loving Sisters, Gloria Cantu(Jessie R.) and Rosa Maria Garcia(Bennie) along with 3 nephews, and 1 niece. Memorial Services will take place on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 11:00 A.M., and the family will receive family and friends at 10:00 A.M., at Roy Akers Funeral Chapels, located at 515 N. Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78205, with Deacon Fred V. Hernandez officiating. A Graveside Service will take place on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 2:45 P.M. at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery located at 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, TX 78209.
