Margarita C. Gonzales, entered rest on December 31, 2013 at the age of 84. She was born in Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico on October 5, 1929 to Fernando and Francisca Chavana. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Canuto Gonzales. She is survived by their son, Fernando Gonzales; special daughter, Francisca Lopez; special son, Carlos Monsivais; grandchildren: Fernando II and Matthew; brother, Miguel Chavana; sister, Ernestina Chavana; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at 6:00 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2014 to celebrate a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II Mausoleum.
