Margarita R. Rocha Rodriguez

Margarita R. Rodriguez, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, entered into eternal rest, on Friday, April 6, 2012, at the age of 91. She was born in San Antonio, Texas to parents, Juan M. and Guadalupe Rocha, on February 22, 1921. Margarita will always be remembered for her dedication to her family and children. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Margarita was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 30 years, Andres L. Rodriguez; brothers, Pedro Rocha, Manuel Rocha; and sister, Charlotte Perryman. Margarita is survived by her sons, Carlos G. Cardenas and his wife Janie, Anthony R. Cardenas and his wife Rachel, and Jerry R. Cardenas and his wife Gloria; sisters, Pauline Lopez and Patsy Lopez and her husband, Jesse; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers on Thursday, April 12, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Wake Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held the following morning, Friday, April 13, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at McCauley Baptist Church, 714 McCauley Ave., San Antonio, TX 78221.
