Our family matriarch, Maria Gloria Arias, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Good Friday, April 7, 2023 at the age of 83. She lived a wonderful life and was proud to have worked at Frost Bros. in Downtown San Antonio for 30 years. After giving her life to the Lord, she found joy in being a prayer warrior and was always a phone call away.
Maria Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Simona Barrera and Dario Bargas, her husband Elias Arias, and son Richard Arias. She was survived by her children; Debra Arias, Ronald (Amalia) Arias, and Robert (Anna) Arias, grandchildren; Steven (Monique) Molina, Fatima (Jay) Fisher, Robert (Estefania) Arias, and Stacey (Zechariah) Franke, and great grandchildren; Lillian, Aaron, Jace, Jairus, Valentina, Penelope, and Raelyn and also survived by her two sisters Elida Pena and Connie De Hoyos and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers on Main Ave. Visitation starts at 5PM with the Rosary beginning at 7PM on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. The funeral service is at San Fernando Cathedral on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 10AM.
