Martin Mark Polanco

Martin Mark Polanco, 43, of San Antonio, Texas, fell peacefully asleep on Monday, February 29, 2016. He was born on June 1, 1972, to proud parents, Mr. & Mrs. Martin & Nelda Polanco, in Littlefield, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, Maternal Grandfather, and Eldest Sibling, Elva Polanco. He is tremendously loved by so many, and is survived by his Husband Gerald G. Cavazos, twin sons Luke Gerald & Zachariah Mark, 4 months, Maternal Grandmother Herlinda Gonzales, Parents Mr. & Mrs. Polanco, Siblings Cynthia (Leonard) Polanco-Anguiano, Candida (Sylvia Nabarrete) Polanco, Melinda (Tracy) Teague, Melisa (Luis) Gil, and Michelle (Erik Cadena) Polanco; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and many other loving relatives and friends. Martin was a graduate from the University of Texas Pan American (Edinburg, TX), and Pharr San Juan Alamo H.S. (Pharr, TX). Martin worked at JP Morgan Chase for 14 years as a Corporate Nurse. He was extremely passionate about his work, and equally his staff and co-workers. He left a legacy in his short time as the Southwest Regional Manager, Vice President. He was passionate and dedicated to volunteering efforts and making a difference in his community. The family would like to send their sincere gratefulness to the Doctors, R.N. Staff, and countless other workers from Christus Santa Rosa Westover Hills Hospital. Your compassion and dignity towards Martin and our family is forever appreciated. A celebration of Martin’s life will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016, at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 N. Main Avenue, San Antonio, TX 78205. The immediate family will receive extended family and friends from 5:00p.m. - 9:00p.m., with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Martins favorite scripture was 1 John 4:8; "God is Love".
