Nieves Arredondo Aguilar, went to be with our Lord on August 1, 2014 at the age of 86. A native of San Antonio she was born on August 5, 1927 to Jesus and Felicitas Aguilar. She was very proud of being a voter registration clerk at Margil Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Nicolas and Amador Aguilar; sisters, Guillermina (Minnie) Gamboa, Matilde (Tillie) Irizarry, and Maryana (Mary) Ensminger. She is survived by sisters-in-law, Elia and Socorro Aguilar; brothers-in-law, Miguel Irizarry, Sam Ensminger and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephew, and friends. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, August 7, 2014 for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
