Ofelia Obledo Rodriguez

Ofelia Obledo Rodriguez, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at the age of 86. She was born in San Antonio, Texas to parents, Jesus P. and Concepcion Guerra Obledo, on July 17, 1926. She will always be remembered for her dedication and love she had for her family and friends and she will be missed deeply. Ofelia was preceded in death by her parents; son Robert Michael (Elva Solis Logan) Rodriguez; sister, Amelia Martinez; and brothers, Fernando, Armando, Mario, Mike, Jessie and Homer Obledo. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Roger R. Rodriguez, Sr.; son, Roger Rodriguez, Jr.; daughter, Ann Marie and Russell Camacho; grandchildren, Lisa Lynn Bradley, Jay Michael (Adriana) Rodriguez, Janann (Tony) Casino, Jason Roger (Mindy) Rodriguez, Russell "Rusty" Robert Rodriguez, Jr., Victoria Marie Rodriguez, Gabriel James Rodriguez and Danielle (Devin Glascock) Richea; great-grandchildren, Sydney Jae Bradley, Dalton Alex Bradley, Dustin Bryant Bradley, Dylan Clay Bradley, Jayden Robert Rodriguez, Valencia Bella Casino, Keifer Jason Rodriguez and Lena Jay Glascock; sisters, Olga Flores, Yolanda DeLeon, Godie Roth and Martha Gamez; brother, Oscar Obledo; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 N. Main (78205), on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held the following morning, Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel.
