Ofelia "Ofi" Riojas

Ofelia Riojas, lovingly known as “Ofi”, entered eternal rest in San Antonio, Texas on October 14, 2016 at the age of 92. Born in San Marcos, Texas to Santiago and Otila Felan; she now reunites with her parents and husband Antonio Riojas. She is survived by her children Diane (John) Bazaldua, Antonio Raul Riojas (Yvonne); grandchildren: Giomara Bazaldua (Jessica Hawkins), Javier Bazaldua, Anthony Riojas, Adam Sanchez; siblings, Juan DeLaCruz and Elena Torres; and numerous other relatives. Ofi enjoyed traveling to California to visit her family. She had a special passion for dogs, especially her fur babies “Punky” and “Paco.” Her favorite activity was playing Bingo and her most memorable times were spent with those she loved dearly. The family will be receiving guests at Roy Akers funeral home on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 5:00p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 9:45 a.m. to celebrate a 10:30a.m. gravesite service at Ft.
