Ofelia M. Salazar entered into eternal rest on January 19, 2016 at the age of 92. She was born to Andres and Maria Luz Martinez on April 4, 1923; and now reunites with her parents; and husband of 73 years, Raul Salazar Jr. She is survived by her 6 children: Roy Salazar & wife Marcena, Raymond Salazar and daughter in law Mona, Michael Salazar, Carol Ann Leija & husband Albert, Gerald Salazar, Yvette Williams & husband Adrian; 11 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. Ofelia enjoyed her days working on her garden and maintaining her plants; but her best days were spent surrounded by her grandchildren whom she adored dearly. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. The family will be receiving guests at the funeral home on Thursday , January 21, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Services will continue at New Vision Church of God, 10050 W Commerce, on Friday, January 23, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
