Olga Guzme

Olga loved spending time with her family, babysitting, dancing, listening to Tejano music, and cooking, especially tamales and her renowned fried chicken. She was an awesome mom who raised her kids and even took in others and welcomed them into her family like her own.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Augustine and Antonia Guzme; her parents, Igancio and Isabel Guzme; and her sister, Annie Guzme Pickett. She is survived by her 4 children, Becky Ponce (Zachary), Daniel Guzme, Henry Hernandez, Shara Lopez, and Guillermo Zavala; her sister, Angelina Guzme Gonzales, Irene Guzme, and Stella Singer; her 10 granchildren, Jaquelin Ponce, Ethan Ponce, Katarina Ponce, Isaiah Hernandez, Thaila Hernandez, Desiree Ramirez, Mario Jr. Ramirez, Aryan Lopez, Brianna McGraw (Jonathan), and Elise Guzme (Keanu); and 3 great grandchildren, Jayda McGraw, Journey McGraw, and Stevie Gallegos.

The funeral service for Olga will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 at El Carmen Church, 18555 Leal Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78221. There will be a viewing starting at 8:30 AM with a rosary recited at 9:30 AM with the mass beginning at 10:00 AM. The burial will follow at the church’s cemetery.
