Reynaldo R. Martinez, entered rest on January 4, 2014 at the age of 93. A native of San Antonio, Texas he was born on February 6, 1920 to Teodocio and Margarita Martinez. He honorably served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Rosa Alicia. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Maria Elfega Martinez; children: Reynaldo L. Martinez and wife Esther, Arturo L. Martinez, Ana Amelia L. Martinez, Maria E. Martiez; grandchildren: Reynaldo, Christopher, and Gilbert. The family will receive friends at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A Chapel Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 9, 2014 also at the funeral home.
