Selma Roberts, born in Lockhart, Texas to Jake and Jimmie Harris, went to be with the Lord on April 30, 2015 at the age of 84. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth D. Roberts Sr., daughter; Connie Sue Vohs, and her 2 brothers and sister. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Roberts (Diane), grandchildren; Jimmie Zrubek (Kevin), Trey Roberts, Michael Vohs (Laura), Christy Dement, Amanda Schafer (Gary), Matt Roberts (Sarah), and 12 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Roy Akers Funeral Home, 515 N. Main Ave. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Bunton Cemetery in Dale, Texas. Selma spent most of her life working as a special education secretary and took pride in what she did. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
