Sergio A. Lopez Sr.

Sergio A. Lopez Sr., 83 years old, fought his final battle and earned his angel wings on the morning of September 9, 2016. He took his last breath as his loving wife of 55 years, Graciela R. Lopez, remained at his side praying for and comforting him. He is survived by his daughters: Laura Torres (Ruben), Lisa Sandoval (Jude), Grace Mier (Manuel). Grandchildren: Joshua Sandoval (Casey), Brittany Bermea (Daniel), Zachary Sandoval, Maverick Sandoval, Brandon Montez, Delaney Montez, Nicholas Mier, Isabella Mier. Great grandchildren: Madielynn Bermea, Lily Bermea, and Calliope Bermea, and soon to be Anastacia Joy Sandoval.

He was preceded in death by his sons: Ronald J. Lopez and Sergio A. Lopez Jr. His parents, Vicente and Maria Lopez, siblings: Homero Lopez, Rolando Lopez, Alfredo Lopez and Dora Torres. Surviving siblings: Idalia Gaytan (Homer) and Hector Lopez. Sergio was a very funny and witty man, always joking and the life of the party. His gift of endless hospitality was evident as he loved to host family parties. He will be remembered for the love that he had for his family and his strength and perseverance. He will be dearly missed.
