Eduardo is survived by his children, Cynthia Alfaro Garza (Martin), Graciela Alfaro Almaguer (Alfredo), Eduardo Alfaro Jr. (Norma), Ricardo Alfaro (Sylvia); his daughter-in-law, Mary Alfaro; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, Jenna, Nicolas, Alexandra, Alan-Michael, Lynette, Stephanie, Eduardo Juan, and Armando (Mandito).
Eduardo was a hard-working man and worked as a John Deere tractor mechanic for many years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His grandchildren were always his priority.
He was preceded in death by his late, loving wife, of 67 years, Eva Ochoa Alfaro, and their late son, Rene Alfaro.
A visitation for Eduardo will be held Monday, August 5, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Helens Catholic Church, 228 Huisache Ave, Rio Hondo, TX 78583. With a burial at 12:00 PM at Mont Meta Memorial Park, 26170 State Highway 345, San Benito, Texas 78586.
