Esther Duran, a devoted woman of faith and beloved aunt, was called home to be with the Lord on September 10th, 2025. A God-fearing woman who lived her life as a testament to her unwavering love for Jesus, Esther’s quiet strength and kind spirit left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Born on October 29th, 1938 to Epimenio Duran and Concepcion O. Duran, Esther was the cherished sister of Francisco, Ernesto, Emilio, San Juana Duran, Audria Duran, Antonio Duran, and Eduardo Duran all of whom she has now joined in heaven. Though Esther had no children of her own, she was a second mother, mentor, and prayer warrior to her many nieces and nephews, who adored her deeply and will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Esther found great joy and peace in reading her Bible daily, lifting her voice in worship, and expressing her faith through poetry. Her words, both spoken and written, reflected a heart wholly devoted to God. Her life was marked by humility, grace, and a quiet but powerful testimony of unwavering trust in the Lord.
Her legacy is one of faith, love, and encouragement. She will be remembered not only for the warmth of her presence, but also for the way she pointed others to Christ, through her actions that reflected the fruit of the Spirit and her unwavering hope in His promises. Though she will be dearly missed here on earth, we rejoice in knowing she is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Services for Esther Duran will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
The viewing will begin at 10:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Meta Funeral Home, followed by a chapel service at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow immediately after at the gravesite.
