Josefina Ponce was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Born August 28,1950, Josefina grew up with a deep love for her plants and cooking for those she cherished. She had a warm and welcoming spirit, and everyone loved being around her.
She adored her family and cherished visits to her hometown in Veracruz, Mexico, where she spent time with her brothers and sisters. At home, she found joy in going to garage sales and cooking her famous tamales and mole.
When she had time to relax, she loved watching novelas. She also an avid sports fan, cheering for the Houston Astros-especially her favorite player, Jose Altuve, because he was "the shorty on the team." She also loved watching football and was a devoted San Francisco 49ers fan.
