Linda Gonzales

Mrs. Linda Gonzales, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and servant of God, was born on August 3, 1950, in San Benito, Texas, to Ernestina and Carlos Arguelles. On September 21, 1969, she married the love of her life, Rafael D. Gonzales, and together they built a life filled with love, faith, and family.

Linda had a deep love for music and enjoyed singing, a gift she often shared with those around her. She took great pride in beautifying her yard, creating a warm and welcoming space for family and friends. She especially cherished all sports activities with her family and looked forward to Sunday family breakfasts, a tradition that brought her immense joy.

Her greatest passion in life was spreading the word of God. She served faithfully as a youth pastor and evangelist for over 30 years, touching countless lives with her faith and devotion.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Rafael D. Gonzales; her daughter, Wendy Gonzales; her grandchildren, Bryana Nieto (Anthony), Kourtney Vasquez (Dillon), and Ian Vasquez; her great-grandsons, Brieden T. Nieto and Kayden K. Nieto; her great-grandson, Tyelor R. Nieto; and her great-granddaughter, Makenzie R. Nieto.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Ernestina Anquiano; her father, Carlos Arguelles; her brothers, Santiago and Carlos Arguelles; and her sister, Celeste Agado.

Linda will be remembered for her faith, her love of family, and her joyful spirit that inspired everyone who knew her.

A Visitation for Linda will be held Sunday, August 24, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta & Memorial Park, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM.

A Funeral Church Service will be held Monday, August 25, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Faith Pleases God, 4501 W Expy 83, Harlingen, TX 78552, with a Burial at 2:00 PM at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
