Maria Del Socorro Perez

Maria Del Socorro Garza de Perez gently fell asleep in death on June 30th at the age of 86. Born on November 1st in Linares, Nuevo Leon. Throughout her life, Abuelita was known for her strength and resilience and a determination to provide for her family. She was a self starter and after a lifetime of successful business ventures, she spent time at home. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy and will be lovingly remembered by her three children and their respective spouses: Fernando Amaro and his wife Hilda Amaro, Elsa Amaro, and Veronica Sosa and her husband Carlos Sosa. She also has many grandchildren that will miss her dearly: Daniel Amaro, Erika Vanegas, Carlos Sosa Jr., Elsa Ham-Pinales, Sarahi Elizondo, Laura Manzano, Abraham Sosa, Martin Ham, Aron Sosa, Lizeth Vasquez, and Angie Amaro. As well as 17 great grandchildren. She now joins her husband, Eloy Perez, who preceded her in death. She was a loyal servant of Jehovah and awaits the fulfillment of his promise found in Job 14:15 "You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands." To remember the wonderful life of Abuelita, a discourse will be held on Saturday, July 4th at 4:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located in 2501 La Feria Rd, Brownsville, TX 78520.

María del Socorro Garza de Perez falleció apaciblemente el 30 de junio, a la edad de 86 años. Nació el 1ro de noviembre en Linares, Nuevo León. A lo largo de su vida, Abuelita se distinguió por su fortaleza, su resiliencia y su firme determinación de proveer para su familia. Fue una mujer emprendedora que, tras una trayectoria de exitosos negocios propios, dedicó sus últimos años al hogar. Deja tras de sí un hermoso legado y perdurará en el cariñoso recuerdo de sus tres hijos y sus respectivos conyuges: Fernando Amaro y su esposa Hilda Amaro, Elsa Amaro, y Verónica Sosa y su esposo Carlos Sosa; así como de sus nietos, quienes la extrañarán profundamente: Daniel Amaro, Erika Vanegas, Carlos Sosa Jr., Elsa Ham-Pinales, Sarahí Elizondo, Laura Manzano, Abraham Sosa, Martín Ham, Arón Sosa, Lizeth Vásquez y Angie Amaro; y de sus 17 bisnietos.

Se reúne ahora con su esposo, Eloy Pérez, quien le precedió en la muerte. Fue una fiel sierva de Jehová Dios y aguarda con esperanza el cumplimiento de su promesa que se encuentra en Job 14:15: "Tú llamarás y yo te responderé. Ansiarás volver a ver la obra de tus manos."

En memoria de la extraordinaria vida de Abuelita, se llevará a cabo un discurso conmemorativo en español el sábado 4 de julio a las 4:00 p.m., en el Salón del Reino de los Testigos de Jehová, ubicado en 2501 La Feria Rd, Brownsville, TX 78520.
