Norma Longoria

Norma Longoria, aged 66, of San Benito, Texas passed away in her home surrounded by family on Thursday, August 29, 2024. Norma was born in San Antonio, Texas on January 31, 1958 to Miguel Ramos and Reyes Serna.

Norma will be remembered by family and friends for her unconditional and wholehearted love. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a warm, kind, and giving soul who always put others needs before her own. She found joy in serving others and always made sure everyone felt at home. She was also known by family to be the life of any party. Norma and her husband, Walle, who she loved unconditionally, were infamous for their dance moves. She cherished her sons and daughter and loved them with all her heart. Norma never missed an opportunity to visit her parents and family in San Antonio. She held a special, loving bond with her sister Lorraine, who she could always count on. She also had a very special connection with family in Ft. Myers, Florida. She had special memories of growing up with her cuñadas, whom she loved like sisters. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends, especially making her homemade tortillas that everyone loved. Anyone who met Norma instantly loved her. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Her home was always open to family and friends.

Norma is survived by her husband, Guadalupe “Walle” Longoria. Her children, Guadalupe “Wally” Longoria Jr., David Longoria (Mireya), Velma Longoria Martinez (Joe), and Steve Longoria (Leanne) . Her mother Reyes Ramos; siblings Lorraine R. Barajas, Michael Ramos, Ray Ramos, Adela R. Rodriguez, and Danny Ramos. Mrs. Longoria also leaves her grandkids Kyleen, Joe Michael, Jacob, Leah, Jadyn, Lauren, Steven, Joshua, Noah, and Aquino. And her great-grandson Nathan.

She will be dearly missed by many additional family and friends.

Norma was preceded in death by her father Miguel (Mike) Ramos and her sister Rachel Ramos.

A visitation for Norma will held Saturday August 31, 2024 from 6pm to 10pm at Funeraria del Angel Mont Meta & Memorial Park, 26170 State Highway 345 San Benito, Texas 78586. A chapel funeral service will occur Sunday at 10am with burial to follow at 11am at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
