Ramiro Longoria grew up in South Texas and made his living as a truck driver and later helped his father with the family harvesting and trucking business. He resided in Fort Meade Florida where he raised his five children and eventually moved to North Metro Atlanta, Georgia to be close to his children. In his spare time Ramiro enjoyed hobbies such as building and painting birdhouses for his wife. His true passion was going hunting and fishing with his sons and grandsons because “That’s what hunters do!” He was an excellent marksman and could shoot a gun with high accuracy from long distances.
He was a kind and loving partner to his wife, as well as an amazing father to his five children. He was adored by his grandchildren and he enjoyed spending time with them. He especially enjoyed all the smothering hugs and kisses from his grandchildren! He always made sure to ask them, “¿Quien te quiere mas?” to which they all answered “GRANDPA!!” He was always kind to everyone and he gave the best advice and always reminded you that you were loved and special. He is gone, but his legacy will go on. This world was a better place because he was in it. ❤️
Ramiro is survived by his wife of 53 years Herminia Longoria, his children Sophia Soriano and son in law Mario Soriano, Ramiro Longoria, Jr., Sandra Puentes and son in law Lazaro Puentes, Paul Longoria and daughter-in-law Shelena Longoria and Gabriel Longoria.
