Rogelio was also known as 'Guero,' someone who led a simple and happy life. He was in born on August 14th, 1942 in San Pablo Pejo, Guanajuato, Mexico and came to the U.S at a very young age. He eventually became a U.S. citizen, and he experienced many life adventures that became fun stories to tell his family.
He was a hardworking man who did whatever he could to support his loved ones. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and he loved watching soccer, boxing matches, and listening to all kinds of music. He had a joyous laugh, and he had a loud voice that we will all dearly miss. Guero enjoyed his time with his family as much as he could, but his health issues were not easy for him to handle.
In spite of that, he continued loving the time he got to spend with his family. You will never be forgotten; we will miss your wonderful laugh and smile. We love you, may you now walk with God and his angels, rest in peace.
Rogelio is preceded in death by his parents, Glafiro and Cruz Ortiz Hernandez, his brother, Hector Hernandez, and his sister, Juanita.
He is survived by his wife, Adela Hernandez, two children, Debra and Olga Hernandez, two grandchildren, Emily and Julianna Garcia, and extended family members and friends.
