

Rolando Zuniga, affectionately known as “Rolie,” will be remembered as the life of the party and a man whose presence brought joy wherever he went. Rolie had a rare gift for making people laugh and smile, and he never met a stranger—anywhere he went, he could easily strike up a conversation and leave others feeling like friends. His outgoing spirit, humor, and warmth made a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
A hardworking man with a deep love for his family, Rolie took great pride in providing for and supporting those he loved. Family meant everything to him, and his devotion was evident in the way he lived his life—with generosity, loyalty, and heart.
Rolie is survived by his beloved wife, **Monica Zuniga**; his daughters, **Lisa Zuniga** and **Lizette Beyonce Zuniga**; and his son, **Rolando Zuniga Jr.** He is also survived by his siblings: **Pablo “Beto” Zuniga**, **Lucy Rodriguez**, **Diana Gonzalez**, **Hermerejildo “Mere” Zuniga**, **Paul Zuniga**, and **Ruben Zuniga**.
He was preceded in death by his parents, **Sylvester Zuniga** and **Josefina Venegas**; his brother, **Joel Emmanuel Zuniga**; and his sister, **Eloisa Cano**.
Though Rolie is no longer with us, his laughter, kindness, and vibrant spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and unforgettable memories that will be cherished forever.
A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta & Memorial Park, located at 26170 State Highway 345, San Benito, Texas, 78586, on January 6, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A rosary will take place at the same venue on January 6, 2026, at 7:00 pm.
The funeral church service will be held at St. Helens Catholic Church, 228 Huisache Ave, Rio Hondo, TX, 78583, on January 7, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
The burial will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park, 26170 State Highway 345, San Benito, Texas, 78586, on January 7, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
