Sergio Gutierrez

It is with deep sorrow and great love that we announce the passing of Sergio Gutierrez of San Benito, Texas, on Friday, August 15, 2025, at the age of 48. He was born on June 29, 1977, in Brownsville, Texas, to Jose Guadalupe Gutierrez and Herminia Ramos Gutierrez. He was a proud and devoted father to Samantha and Sergio Jr, the light of his life and the source of his greatest joy. His love and dedication to his children were the cornerstones of his life, and he cherished every moment spent together. Sergio lived a life filled with laughter, shared adventures, and unwavering loyalty to his family and friends.

Sergio will be remembered for his contagious laugh, his kindness, his generosity towards others, and his love of cooking for others. He had a passion for dancing, fishing with his son, barbequing, trail riding with his Cowboy family, and spending time with his children and treasured grandchildren. While his time here was far too short, Sergio made a lasting impact on all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed, forever remembered for his laughter, courage, and the deep love he held for his family- especially Samantha and Sergio Jr.

Sergio is survived by his loving father, Jose G. Gutierrez; his two children, Samantha Pacheco (Rogelio Pacheco Jr.) and Sergio Gutierrez Jr. (Skylar Gutierrez); his brother, Jose G. Gutierrez Jr. (Millie-Jo Gonzalez Gutierrez); his niece Shyanna Gutierrez, and nephew Jordan Gutierrez (Alyssa Gutierrez); and his grandchildren: Sergio Gutierrez III, Gabriella Pacheco, and Addalynn Gutierrez.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Herminia Ramos Gutierrez.

Sergio was a bright light that illuminated the lives of those around him. As we mourn his passing, we take solace in the memories and moments we shared with him. Sergio’s spirit will live on in our hearts forever.

Honored to be pallbearers are Roy Pacheco, George Tovar, Ray Ramos, Lazaro Alba, Erasmo Lopez, Jr. Chavez, Kevin Hill, and Charlie Weaver.

Visitation for Sergio will be on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta & Memorial Park, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 PM.

The Chapel Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta & Memorial Park, with the Burial following at noon at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
