A. Gordon Bone

Albert Gordon Bone, 80, a native Atlantan of Marietta, GA died June 17, 2011. Mr. Bone is survived by his wife, Marcia V. Bone; daughters, Alison Stoll (Wayne) of Portland, OR and Annsley Martin (Todd) of Woodstock, GA; son, Alan G. Bone (Joyce A.) of Atlanta, GA; sister, Saralyn Lundy (Walker) Sherrills Ford, NC; grandchildren, Annsley Gresenz, Kaitlyn Stoll, Hayden Martin, Ragan Martin, Griffin Bone, Alex Bone, Ethan Bone; great-grandchild, Isabelle Gresenz. Mr. Bone is a graduate of the Atlanta Division of the University of Georgia now known as Georgia State University. He was an avid radio controlled model airplane builder and was a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics.. He enjoyed golfing. He worked as a manufacturer’s representative for Gordon Bone Co. A visitation will be held Saturday, June 18, 2011 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Sandy Springs Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 20, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Sandy Springs Chapel, 136 Mt. Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Kidney Foundation.
