

Having graduated from Roosevelt High School in Honolulu just prior to WWII, she went to work at the Bishop Bank selling war bonds. She and her family experienced the attack on Pearl Harbor and had some interesting recollections of the war years.
After meeting and marrying Tyler R. Gresham, she left her parents and sisters in Honolulu to move to Atlanta, Georgia and began her family, raising one daughter and three sons.
She will be most remembered for being a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She spent most of her life nurturing and guiding her children into their adult lives.
She is survived by daughter Diane Gresham Sharpe, son William Michael Gresham, daughter-in-law Suzette Garrett Gresham, and grandchildren Sundi Williamson, Sam Sharpe (and wife Angel), Garrett Gresham (and wife Chuck), and by great grandchildren Will Sharpe, Ty Sharpe, and Skylar Williamson. She was predeceased by sons Richard Stovall Gresham and Tyler Rhymes Gresham, Jr.
Aileen will be interred at Arlington Memorial Cemetery in Atlanta in the presence of her family.
