Mr. Dennis Kanderis, age 58, of Sandy Springs died April 29, 2011. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Grace “Bunny” Edna Kanderis and Mike Kanderis and his brother Shane Kanderis. He was the owner of Lakeside Motorcycle and most recently was an engineer consultant with Metso Paper. He was noted for his charitable giving and time as a father figure for all the neighborhood children. A devoted husband, loving father and friend, he is survived by his wife Amy Kanderis, daughters Emily of Sandy Springs; Crystal of Pocatello, ID; sister Jennifer Hanson and her husband Jimmy Hanson of Centennial, CO; grandchild Cohen Sanford and nephews, Ryder Steele Kanderis, Tyler, Trevor and Trent Hanson. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Sandy Springs United Methodist Church. Dr. Kan Ray will officiate. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall.
