Gene graduated from Southwest Miami High School and attended the University of Florida.
He was the owner and operater of his own construction company as a career.
He was the loving husband of Elizabeth Bertram; father of Teri Frei (John); grandfather of Madison Frei, Gehrig Frei and Jonathan Frei; brother of Ellen Fisher and Penny Hauben.
A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Gene’s life will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 11:15 a.m. at Sandy Springs Chapel, 136 Mt. Vernon Hwy, NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
Because of his love for animals, the family suggests contributions be made to The Humane Society.
