

He was born in Iran on February 20, 1934, forth of six siblings. At an early age of 16, he joined the Iranian Airforce in hopes to travel the World and gain life experiences. By the time he was 23, he met and married the love his life, Zohreh, with whom he just celebrated their 60 year anniversary and his 83rd Birthday on February 20, 2017. Father of four, 2 girls and 2 boys, Fariba, Farzaneh, Ramin and Amir and 9 Grand Children who constantly warmed his heart during family gatherings. In order of age, Shayda, Jasmine, Parisa, Brandon, Cameron, Atrena, Zoe, Bjorn and Preston all filled his heart and soul with love, joy and pride.
After the birth of his 2nd daughter, his dream of traveling to the US was realized where he trained with the US Airforce. Although during his military career his travels took him to many parts of the Globe, his trips to the US became a constant norm where he not only made many new friends, but “America” became a second home. In 1978, Hassan and Zohreh decided to call America home and moved to Atlanta, Georgia where they raised their four children and ultimately became proud Grandparents of 9 wonderful Grand kids.
His life was about sacrificing for his family and friends. He took great pride in living his life with love, kindness, honor and integrity. Although his family called America home, as the original Founding Member of The Persian Community Center (later named Kanoon), Hassan always stayed true to his roots by helping Iranian families who had recently moved to the US acclimate to their new lives.
