Through a wall of tears we are heartbroken to share the passing of our daughter Jenny Geraneo. Jenny was taken from us unexpectedly at the tender age of 19, but in those 19 years she brought so much joy to everyone she touched. She was taking summer courses for her sophomore year at Florida State University, preparing for a trip to a Florida beach with friends, and working part time at OK Café, where she was loved dearly.
Jenny was born in Atlanta and attended several schools including The Heiskell School, Sarah Smith School and Atlanta Girl’s School. She graduated high school from Chamblee Charter High where she excelled in academia and was accepted to FSU.
Her hobbies, like so many teens, were music, clothing, jewelry, hair products, make-up, and her iPhone. She cherished her dog Gracie, her friends and her 2011 Volvo convertible.
She leaves behind her mom – Sandy Jap, dad – Ron Geraneo and her brother Alex.
Visitation arrangements Sunday, July 31, 2022, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm Sandy Springs Chapel with light refreshments throughout.
Celebration of Life Monday, August 1, 2022, at 11:00 am from Buckhead Church - Gallery room with a reception to follow.
