Joseph Clifford Williams

Joseph “JC” Williams, 84 of Snellville, GA went to heaven on Sunday June 25, 2017. Visitation will be held at Sandy Springs Chapel from 5-7pm on Wednesday, June 28th and Mass services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, June 29th at All Saints Catholic Church. Monsignor Hugh Marren will preside with a military honors burial to follow at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, GA.

Mr. Williams was born on August 17, 1932 in Turner County Georgia and was the son of Joseph Clifford Williams and Johnnie Lee Lamb Williams, both deceased. He was preceded in death by three sisters; Ruby Dabbs, Willie Mae Williams and Thelma Aultman and one brother Ralph Williams. Mr. Williams was of the Catholic faith and a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the United States Army as well as a Purple Heart recipient.

Mr. Williams is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Ann Daley Williams of Snellville, one sister Evelyn Stout of Jacksonville, FL as well as two daughters: Ann Williams Winkler and Maureen Williams Britt of Snellville, and one son: Thomas Williams of Atlanta. He also leaves behind six grandchildren: Staci Lastinger and her husband Robert Lastinger, Kelly Winkler, Maggie Britt, Charlie Britt, Matt Britt and Cliff Britt.
