Linda Carter Gifford

Born in Ada, Oklahoma, and raised in Atlanta, Linda was known as a loving and generous sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. Linda was a strong follower of Christ, offering kindness and support to the people in her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Randall and Rebecca Carter; husband, Charles Robert Gifford; sisters, Laura Carter Nash and Cynthia Carter Fluker; and brother, Randall Carter Jr. She is survived by her sister, Lorraine Carter Strickland; brother-in-law, Michael Strickland; sister-in-law, Susan Wagner Carter; children, Kimberly Romer, Amy Somerville, and Robert Gifford; sons-in-law, Kevin Romer and Thomas Somerville; and grandchildren, Ian, Abigail, Isabelle, Katelynne, Jacob, and Jacqueline.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 28, 2025, at Sandy Springs Chapel, 130 Mount Vernon Highway NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. Burial services will follow at Arlington Memorial Park.

A visitation will be held on November 28, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Sandy Springs Chapel, located at 136 Mt Vernon Rd., Sandy Springs, GA 30328. The funeral service will follow at the same location, beginning at 1:00 pm.

A committal service is scheduled for November 28, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm at Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mount Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, GA, 30328.
