Mary “Anne” Davis Topping, 97, of Atlanta, died Dec. 15, 2014. Anne left a legacy with the development of airships. She was married to the well-known author Dr. Dale Topping. She attended Girls high in Atlanta and graduated with honors from Kent State University. Anne was as active member of the Lighter than Air Society. She served as PR Director for the Girl Scouts, and volunteer as docent for the Governor’s Mansion and Atlanta Historical Society .She was a member of the Peachtree Rd. Presbyterian church. Survivors include nieces and nephews, Debbie and Bob Holman of Marietta and Billy and Carolyn Davis of Greensboro, N. Carolina as well as their children. Graveside service will be help @ Arlington Cemetery 201 Mt. Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs GA 30328 December 21, 2014.
