Michael William Goodwin, born September 21, 1971, in Atlanta, GA, passed away Monday, November 21, 2011, from a cerebral hemorrhage. Michael, an only child, is survived by his mother, Doran Hallett Goodwin and preceded in death by his father William Lloyd Goodwin. He is a graduate of Riverwood High School, Georgia State University, and did grad work at the University of Southern California. Michael was a member of the Sandy Springs United Methodist Church. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 pm Sunday, November 27 at the church, on 86 Mount Vernon Hwy., Sandy Springs, GA 30328. A reception will be held in the Fellowship Hall following the service.
