

Mrs. Peggy D. Tiller, 71, of Atlanta died March 22, 2011 after an extended illness. Born in Norwood, GA, she was the daughter of W.R. (Dick) Duckworth and Marianna Williamson Duckworth. Mrs. Tiller was a member of the DAR, Atlanta Symphony Associates, Atlanta Music Club, Red Hat Society and High Museum of Art. She also was a member and faithful worker with the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation and Sandy Springs United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Eric Tiller, Jr., sons , Charles Tiller and his wife Debbie of Tuscaloosa, AL and William Duckworth Tiller and his wife Deborah of Alpharetta, GA, sisters, Sue Duckworth Simons and Richie Duckworth of Norwood, GA; brother Gregg Duckworth of Acworth, GA; grandchildren, Ryan Tiller, Elizabeth Tiller and Eric Tiller, IV. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Sandy Springs United Methodist Church. Dr. Ken Ray and Dr. Tommy Green will officiate. Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Feed and Seed Ministry at Sandy Springs United Methodist Church, 85 Mt. Vernon Hwy.
