Reagan was born on April 27, 2006, and from the moment she entered this world, she filled those around her with wonder, laughter, and joy. Many may remember Reagan from her days at Our Lady of the Assumption, with her curly pigtails and big brown eyes. Others may remember her from St. Pius X Catholic High School, where she shined on stage in theatre productions and made everyone around her belly laugh with her quick wit and infectious spirit.
Most recently, Reagan attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she was a beloved member of Alpha Gamma Delta. She was also deeply devoted to her faith and could often be found in the Catholic churches around campus, places that brought her peace and closeness to God. She also spent many hours at Cru where she worshiped and grew in community. Reagan wrestled with God and knew the gravity of our fallen world compared to the agape love our Jesus has for us- something we all can learn from.
Throughout her life, Reagan was constantly surrounded by love. Coming from a large Italian and Cuban family, she developed a profound sense of loyalty, connection, and devotion to the people she loved most. Family meant everything to Reagan, but so did friendship. She was always with friends — exploring obscure corners of her home state of Georgia, making memories, laughing endlessly, and turning ordinary moments into unforgettable ones.
Reagan had a rare gift for making people feel truly seen, understood, and loved. She carried a profound wisdom beyond her years and was often described as an “old soul.” Reagan viewed the world with remarkable depth, empathy, and compassion. She felt deeply for others — not only for those closest to her, but for anyone hurting or in need of kindness.
She is survived by her mother, Maggie Hoback; her father, Jason Hoback; her older sister, Reese Hoback; and her younger sister, Riley Hoback. The family asks for continued prayers, strength, and comfort during this unimaginable loss as they hold tightly to the hope of one day being reunited with their beloved Reagan in Paradise.
She will be missed beyond words and loved for all eternity.
