Mr. Theodore Steve Avgerinos/Alger, age 81, born in Ithaca Greece and a resident of Atlanta passed away on August 9, 2014. “Ted” was a life-long member of the Greek Orthodox Church and significant contributor to the moving and storage transportation industry he was Founder and Chairman of Atlantic Relocation Systems. He had a strong passion for “trucks” and helping people get from one place to another. Surviving are his son, Steve Avgerinos/ Alger and his daughter in law Dana Avgerinos and grandson “Little Ted” along with daughter, Olga Denning and granddaughters Juliet and Nicole of Kennesaw, GA along with his sisters Maria Caras of Buckhead and Nitsa Avgerinos of Athens, Greece, also surviving are nieces, nephews and cousins throughout the world. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, from 4 pm until 7 pm at Sandy Springs Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at the Greek Orthodox Church for family members.
