

Thomas William Ungashick, 73, died Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Northside Hospital following a brief illness. He was surrounded and comforted by family members at the time of his passing. Tom, also known as Mike, leaves his loving wife of over 50 years, Ellen (French) Ungashick; he was preceded in death by his infant son Michael and is survived by his sons Tim, Patrick and Charlie and their wives; ten grandchildren; his sister Barbara; and many close friends. Born in Baltimore, MD and raised on Long Island, NY, Tom was the middle child of Thomas W. Ungashick, Sr. and Polly K. Ungashick. Tom graduated from Chaminade High School in Mineola, NY and graduated from John Carroll University in 1964. Tom led a successful career in financial services as a business developer, entrepreneur, and advisor and was most recently co-founder and Chairman of White Horse Advisors, LLC in Atlanta. Deeply devoted to prayer and his faith, Tom focused much of his time on his own spiritual writing, resulting in the popular document, The Conversation. Tom enjoyed mentoring people in need of business and spiritual advice and pursuing charitable works with the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs, Buckhead Christian Ministry and Catholic Charities of Atlanta. A funeral Mass and reception will held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 4465 Northside Drive NW Atlanta, GA 30327 on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 10:30AM.
