Bill was one of the first people I met on the pier and definitely one of the nicest and giving person I have met in my young adult life. Showed me lots of things about fishing that I will use for the rest of my life. Will miss his singing and face at the pier. So sorry for the loss, praying for him and his family.

It is very sad to hear the passing of Bill.  He was one of the first people my husband, Bob, and I met when we moved to the beach in 2003.  Bill was friendly and loved fishing, all forms of sports, including following the football team at Arnold High and all baseball teams; many of the same interests that my husband shared.   We were all from the Atlanta area and he and Bob had much in common to talk about.  We moved from the beach in 2013, but enjoyed seeing Bill's photos on his Facebook page and his comments about the most recent fish he had caught, or what he was cooking for dinner that night.   Peace be with you.

I knew Bill in college and got him involved in Baptist Student Union.  He came to know Jesus through "Outreach 80" after seeing the film, "The Cross and the Switchblade."  He was a lot of fun, and he'll be missed.  I am praying for all his family during this difficult time.

Today, January 23, 2018, I read on Facebook that Bill passed away on January 3, 2018.  He loved Panama City Beach and fishing the gulf waters.  He will be greatly missed, RIP Bill.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Bill.  I knew him from college at Georgia Southwestern State University.  He and my husband were roommates for a short time, and "Mr. Bill" as we called him, was full of energy, enthusiasm and love for God.  I remember going to a wrestling match in Americus with him and some friends.  He was a hilarious spectator and made the wrestling matches more interesting.  I know he will be missed by many!

Bill will be missed by all of his fellow fishermen.  He taught me lots and was very generous and patient.  So sorry.

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Bill. I knew him through the Baptist Student Union at GSW and enjoyed reading of his life of fishing at PCB on FB. My prayers for you his family and friends as you find peace in the midst of your sorrow.
