William T. Boyce Jr.

.William T. (Bill) Boyce, Jr., 89, formerly of Dunwoody, died June 30, 2014 in Delray Beach FL. Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Elizabeth Ullman (Betty) Boyce. He is survived by siblings and their spouses; Jack (Mig) Boyce, Sister Mary Boyce, and Ann (Joe) Buko. After losing Betty, Bill found love again with his second wife, Nancy Drew Boyce. Bill was loved and cherished by his six children and their spouses Peggy (Lang), Terry, Danny (Susie), Gerard (Janet), Ellen (Jeff) and Betsy (Paul). Bill was loved and adored by additional surviving family including 20 grandchildren, 5 step children, 12 great grandchildren, and 8 step grandchildren. Bill was a caring spouse, father, and friend. He was raised in Bayside, NY, was a Navy veteran of WWII, and enjoyed playing piano/organ, singing, doing projects, and spending time with family. He had a 34 year long career with the telephone company achieving position of manager of outside plant engineering for Southern Bell. Bill enjoyed the last 10 years of his life in Florida making frequent cruises to the Caribbean. Always the dreamer, Bill will be missed by all for his good nature, storytelling, and his love of life. The family will receive friends on Friday July 4, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Sandy Springs Chapel. A memorial service will be held at the chapel on Saturday July 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Internment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park, Sandy Springs, GA.
